  • EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG
  • Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EWG / new 2006/95/EG
  • EMC Directive 89/336/EWG / new 2004/108/EG

The following other standards and guidelines are applied:

  • EN 61400 Wind Turbine Generator System
  • EN ISO 13849-1
  • Guideline for the Certification of Wind Turbines (Germanischer Lloyd WindEnergie GmbH, Edition 2003 with Supplement 2004 and Edition 2010)
  • DIBt, Guideline for Wind Turbines, Interferences and Proof of structural Safety for Tower and Foundation -Richtlinie für Windkraftanlagen, Einwirkungen und Standsicherheitsnachweise für Turm und Gründung-, vol. March 2004
  • Technical Guideline of the BDEW: Power Generation Plants at the Medium Voltage Grid. Guideline for Connection and parallel Operation of Power Generation Plants at the Medium Voltage Grid. Version June 2008
  • BDEW: TransmissionCode 2007. Grid and System Regulations of the German Transmission Network Utilities. Version 1.1, August 2007
  • Technical Guideline of the Wind Energy Association (FGW): Part 3, Determining the Electrical Properties of Power Generation Units at the Medium, High and Extra High Voltage Grid.

Designer cardboard model

2.5 MW WIND TURBINE MODEL FOR YOU AT HOME >>> The 2.5 MW wind turbine for your home >>> You can build your cardboard model at home with hobby knife, scissors, ruler, pincers, glue and feeling- That works as easy as:

  • Download the model file (PDF/1,2 MB)
  • 170g/m22 -print cardboard in colour
  • assemble

The model is for a 2.5 MW W100 wind turbine with a nacelle height of 160 m (scale of 1:500). The rotor can be turned.

The original on which the model is based has a rotor diameter of 90 m and was erected in 2006 as the prototype for the 2.5 MW wind turbine platform in Laasow (State of Brandenburg, Germany). It is the highest wind turbine in the world.
