THE SAFETY MATRIX SYSTEM >>> The design of the safety system LARUS Safe®  is subject to special care. The design complies with the strict requirements of the EC Machine Directive as well as the requirements of ISO 13849-1 and Germanischer Lloyd.

LARUS Safe® returns the wind turbine to a safe condition - especially after failure of the control system or individual components or systems.

The safety system selectively reacts to triggering devices and signals such as emergency stops, vibration switch, threshold speed relays, etc. By means of an event-oriented  differentiated release of the actuators, forces and moments are reduced as extreme loads. Clearly, components such as the brakes and the main gearbox are subjected to less mechanical wear, which means that they have a longer life expectancy.
